Ladies' 2s Catherine Brant in sumo suit action during the last AHC club social before COVID
The Ladies’ 2s enjoyed a flying start to this season, putting last season behind them by beating Hampstead & Westminster 6s 2-1. The second match was always going to be a tough one against our biggest rivals Staines – who doesn't love a local derby!? AHC do, that's for sure, beating Staines 2s 5-2!
The 2s continued with a spring in their step beating Teddington 4s 2-0! A great start to the season with everyone really enjoying playing and socialising after a tough summer.
The next three games were a mixed bag. We lost to OMT 1s 3-0, beat Eastcote 3s 4-2 and lost 3-2 to West Hampstead 4s. I think it's safe to say that the 2s have had a great start to the season, scoring lots of goals and having great fun whilst doing it.
Played 6: won 4, lost 2, scored 13; sitting comfortably as 4th in the league.
A big shout out to Jo Lawton for doubling up for 1s and 2s and to Elize and Hannah 'Handbag' Merchant for stepping up in goal in our times of need.
See you on the other side of Tier 4 for us to continue our winning ways!
